Students are introduced to the design and analysis of microwave circuits and devices. Students explore basic active and passive microwave components, passive lumped circuits, filter design, and calibration techniques. Students learn applications of microstrip circuit technology to patch antennas, coupled lines and filters. Students survey the current key research issues in microwave circuits. Prerequisites: Admission to the Graduate program in Engineering.
