Students are required to involve in primary research and make significant contribution to scholarship in the area of engineering specialization under the supervision of a faculty member and a thesis advisory committee. Students are required to write a thesis highlighting the results disseminated from this work and successfully defend it before an examining committee. The students register in this course each semester that they are in the program until all requirements for the thesis have been met. Prerequisite: Completion of MEngSc Graduate course work requirements or with the permission of the program advisor and thesis supervisor.
