This course provides an in-depth exploration of aspects of the English language and surrounding culture. The specific content and focus are determined in the semester prior to its being offered. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion (C+ or better) of Level 3 ESAL or placement according to the English Placement Test. Note: Students will only receive credit for one of ESAL 0440 and ESAL 0990.
