Institutional Learning Outcomes: This physical geography course introduces students to hydrologic systems and processes, with an emphasis on: the global hydrologic cycle; hydrologic processes in river basins and related measurement techniques; and elementary hydrologic modelling. The course also examines the potential impact that land use (such as irrigation and urbanization), climate change and politics may have on water resources.
