Institutional Learning Outcomes: This science course deals with distribution and movement of water in the phreatic zone. Topics covered include properties of aquifers, principles of groundwater flow, groundwater flow to wells, soil moisture and groundwater recharge, regional groundwater flow, groundwater chemistry and contamination, groundwater development and management, and groundwater modeling. Prerequisite: GEOG 2050 and Completion of 30 credits.
