Institutional Learning Outcomes: Intercultural Awareness Students further develop the communicative skills acquired in JAPA 1210 or equivalent to an early A2 level in speaking, listening, reading and writing modern Japanese. Students increase their awareness of the value of diverse cultures and worldviews and further develop and apply intercultural communication skills. Prerequisite: JAPA 1210 or permission of instructor Note: Students who have completed Japanese Grade 12 or equivalent within the last two years may not take this course for credit unless approved by Modern Languages. Native speakers of Japanese may not take this course for credit.
