Institutional Learning Outcomes: Intercultural Awareness Students further develop the communicative skills acquired in JAPA 2110 or equivalent to an A2 level in speaking, listening, reading and writing modern Japanese. Students solidify their skills and extend their knowledge while they are introduced to increasingly advanced language structures. Prerequisite: JAPA 2110 or permission of instructor. Note: Students who have completed Japanese Grade 12 or equivalent within the last two years may not take this course for credit unless approved by Modern Languages. Native speakers of Japanese may not take this course for credit.
