This course examines the growing range of mechanisms available for the resolution of international disputes between states and increasingly with multinational corporations and individuals. Students study different mechanisms for resolving those disputes, from negotiations to formal international courts and tribunals, and critically assess how they function, their limitations, and opportunities for innovation.
