Students will focus on the nurse's role as teacher. Relational practice is explored with diverse clients across a range of settings and contexts. Students examine a variety of teaching /learning theories, perspectives, and strategies that underlie meaningful interactions with individuals, families, and groups. Students will develop communication skills and knowledge for collaborative practice and group process. Prerequisite: NURS 1800, NURS 1830, NURS 1840, ENGL 1100; HLSC 260, NURS 2300, NUSR 2740, NURS 2750 (must be taken concurrently)
