This course in experimental physics will provide students with expertise in computer aided data collection, digital design and automation of data collection. Weekly lectures and seminars expand students' data analysis skills. Weekly student led laboratory exercises allow students to research, design, carry out and report results. Oral and written scientific communication skills are reinforced. Prerequisite: PHYS 3090. Note: Students may only receive credit for one of PHYS 3590 and EPHY 2300.
