Institutional Learning Outcomes: Knowledge Supply chain management has emerged as one of the most important functional areas of businesses in the modern era. Supply chains are concerned with the value-adding flows of materials, and information for both manufacturing and service organizations. Understanding the inter-relationships within modern supply chains is an important component of this course. Students will examine the strategic role of supply chain management in achieving organizational goals. The fundamental concepts, activities and tools of supply chain management are delivered through numerous methods including lectures and applied activities. Prerequisite: MNGT 1710 Note: Students may only receive credit for one of SCMN 3320, SCMN 3321 or BBUS 3320.
