Students explore the methods used by organizations to acquire the materials, components, supplies, equipment, facilities, and services needed to operate. Students explore the elements of the procurement cycle to develop a working understanding of the strategic procurement process. Students will engage in topics like procurement value, early supplier involvement, responsible procurement, and collaborative relationships. The focus of the course is on the application of concepts to prepare students for procurement employment. Prerequisite: SCMN 3320 or SCMN 3321. Note: Students may only receive credit for one of SCMN 3330 or BBUS 4300.
