In this high impact service-learning course, community-minded students engage the responsibilities of committees. Students have opportunities to serve in real-world contexts. Students will enhance teamwork, team building, and communication skills while exploring various forms of civic engagement. Students will gain knowledge and skills applicable to a wide range of careers, including those in non-governmental organizations, the volunteer sector, business and government, and academic institutions. Prerequisites: Students must have successfully completed a minimum of 45 credits of undergraduate course work or with the permission of the department chair.
