Institutional Learning Outcomes: As an introduction to photography, the curriculum focuses primarily on the technical aspects of black and white analog photography as well as digital photography. The main objective is the use of photography as an artistic medium. An understanding of the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography is carried out in the context of an ongoing study of contemporary and historic photographic practice. Students are expected to complete assignments outside of regularly scheduled class hours. Prerequisite: None Note: Credit for this course cannot be used towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree nor a Diploma in Visual Art
