Th e lecture component will emphasize the development and application of strategies and tools to analyse, interpret and critically evaluate knowledge in biomedical sciences through the use of primary literature. Students will learn to recognize outstanding questions, speculative arguments, ambiguities and/or flaws, and logically suggest the use of strategies that might resolve identified issues. The course will also focus on the ability to communicate in written and oral form. Finally, students will learn about and implement bioethical considerations in their arguments. The tutorial component will help students learn to execute critical thinking and communication concepts.Weekly
