This course is for students with some background in Mandarin who wish to improve their communication abilities in all four language skills. By using the standard Hànyu Pinyin phonetic system and a variety of authentic materials, students will learn to make statements, ask questions, respond to questions and create conversations based upon culturally authentic situations. By the end of this course, students will be able to read and write over 1000 Chinese characters.Weekly
