This course is designed fo r third and fourth year students with an interest in theories and applications in the labour markets. Using tools from microeconomic theory and statistics, the course investigates a wide variety of issues including wage and employment determination, individuals' decisions to invest in human capital, discrimination in labour markets, social welfare and immigration policies, union and collective bargaining and the causes of unemployment and unemployment policies.Weekly
