I n this introductory course, students learn the foundational craft elements and major issues of one or more genres of creative writing. They write in-class and take-home exercises, read, discuss, and anatomize published writing, and participate in peer-to-peer workshops in order to refine their art of self-expression and communication. Students also immerse themselves in topics animating contemporary writing, such as originality, citation, intertextuality, and writing in the digital age.Weekly
