Recent change s to the concept of family require us to fundamentally shift our way of understanding this social phenomenon. What family is appears intrinsically related to what it does; and what matters most are the meanings individuals and groups bring to these domestic arrangements. This (UL) course is an in-depth investigation of the issues affecting contemporary family relationships in Canada.
