<p>T he origins of environmental conflicts and the information that supports environmental decision-making will be investigated from the perspective of physical geography. The role of data and information for understanding physical processes is traced from field observations to modelling, spatial analyses, prediction, and decision-making. Examples from the fields of soil science and hydrology will be examined. The learning experience is comprised of readings, lectures, and the collection and analysis of primary and secondary data.</p> Weekly
