This course introduces students to key ethical and legal aspects of working with older adults and how to manage them. Topics include the rights of older adults, informed consent, advance care planning, mental capacity, dementia, disability, and caregiving. Students will develop their capacities for navigating legal and ethical challenges in practice and to support and safeguard the rights of older adults.Weekly
