Dive into the Chinese literature. CHIN 441 is an advanced language course for heritage students focusing on Chinese literature work and analysis in modern Chinese. The course engages in reading and writing at an advanced level and strengthens students’ linguistic competence through expanding vocabulary; introducing advanced Chinese grammar and rhetoric; developing the students’ abilities to read and analyze modern Chinese prose, essays and short stories; as well as comprehensive training of Chinese writing.
