Methods of empirical economic research. Topics include multiple linear regression models, with a focus on regression diagnostics, prediction, statistical inference, and interpretations. Students will be required to learn to apply empirical methods using a statistical programming tool. Credit will only be granted for one of ECON 326, ECON 328, STAT 306. Prerequisite: All of ECON 101, 102; One of ECON 325, ECON 327, COMM 191, STAT 200, STAT 241, STAT 251, LFS 252.
