Examples from health sciences illustrate standard techniques for parametric and nonparametric hypothesis testing; regression and correlation; contingency tables. Also randomization, "blindfolding" and other specifically biomedical topics in statistics. Credit will be granted for only one of SPPH 400 or SPPH 521. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
