This course examines the physical properties and the appropriate uses of landscape construction materials. The impact of design, construction techniques and selection of materials are emphasized in relation to urban landscape, golf course and sports field settings. Field trips, outdoor workshops and a variety of small-scale construction projects will be incorporated when possible.
