This course introduces the design of mechatronics systems, which are synergistic, combinations of components and controls drawn from mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer engineering. Topics include micro-electromechanical systems, smart materials, modern actuators, and multi-agent mechatronic systems, and mechatronics for manufacturing.
