This course focuses on the principles and techniques of modern digital systems and microcontroller interfacing. The course covers fundamental principles of combinational logic circuits, sequential logic circuits, integrated circuit logic families, arithmetic and MSI logic circuits, interfacing with the analog world including sensors and actuators, modern microcontroller basic architectures, instruction set architecture, and common interfacing microcontroller modules. The course introduces practical interfacing applications with microcontrollers, including serial and parallel interfacing and analog input/output interfacing.
