In this course, students apply key journalistic writing and research skills, including interviewing, identifying news values, writing, editing and CP style to the creation of effective, persuasive public relations content critical to any organization. Students learn to research the public relations objectives of organizations and address them by creating a variety of tools including pitch emails, news releases, media kits, social media posts, online newsrooms and newsletters.
