This course encourages students to develop an experimental, ambitious, and exploratory studio arts practice. Course material is presented through lectures, labs, and critiques to engage with the form, content, and technical attributes of the medium. Students will explore the creative uses of colour and scale. In-class discussions, readings and seminars are designed to provide students with a critical and historical understanding of the art-making process.
