This course introduces students to devised theatre practices which lead to the creation of unscripted, original performance. Students will become familiar with and practice different methods for devising, including improvisation and collective creation. Topics may include solo devising, group devising, devising through physicality, devising in site-specific locations and integrating forms of media into devised work.
