This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of three-dimensional form and space. Technical, aesthetic, material and theoretical issues are explored within the context of contemporary sculpture. Diverse approaches to object-making are investigated through a range of hands-on assignments in materials such as clay, plaster, textiles, wood and found materials.
