Course introduces the basic principles of theatrical lighting and projection construction techniques, tools, materials, vocabulary, and personnel. Course will review current equipment, methods, and technologies resulting in an understanding of and ability to communicate and execute common theatrical lighting production practices and processes. Course will include demonstrations and involve practical application of beginner techniques through paper projects as well as hands-on experience.
