An introduction to spoken and written Korean for students with little or no previous knowledge of the language. Students will be taught basic pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar, as well as the Hangul writing system. Students who have received all or a portion of their elementary or secondary education in the Korean language may not normally enrol. Not open to students who have previously obtained credit in ASIA 2750 [6 credits]
