The course will provide fundamental technical competencies from the discipline of agricultural engineering for the study of agronomy. Students will be introduced to i) concepts from "smart" farming, ii) functions of machinery for production agriculture, iii) water management for production agriculture, and iv) safe storage and handling of grains and oilseeds [3 credits]
