Lectures and field exercises examine the biotic (algae, macrophytes, invertebrates, and vertebrates) and abiotic (hydrology, nutrient cycling) properties of Manitoba's wetlands. Various wetland types, including prairie potholes, peatlands, and coastal marshes will be considered in lectures and field work. The course is offered in Summer Session [3 credits]
