This is a course in applied micro-economic policy analysis using the techniques of cost-benefit analysis as its foundation. Students will learn the welfare foundations of cost-benefit analysis, techniques for decision-making under conditions of risk and uncertainty, and how these techniques may be applied to public policy. The course will include examples from all areas of public policy, including health, education, social services, criminal justice, etc [3 credits]
