Designed to teach students how to read, write, and research at the university level, this course stresses effective expository writing, prose reading, and research skills. There is no prerequisite for this course. Students may not hold credit for both ENGL 2000 and ENGL 2001. NOTE: Credit in ENGL 2000 is acceptable toward a degree in Arts or Science, but does not satisfy the humanities requirement in the Faculty of Arts. It may not be offered for credit in the 30 hours for a Major (General) or the 18 hours for a Minor but may be offered for credit in the 48 hours for the Major (Advanced) [6 credits]
