This course will introduce students to a broad range of methodologies and topics important for the study of book history, print and post-print culture. Students will study texts from and/or about the four main areas of book history: manuscript, hand-press printing, machine press printing, and digital publishing while also being introduced to the methodologies of authorship and reception studies [3 credits]
