This course provides an introduction to applied statics, construction materials and construction system assemblies for landscape, building, and interior constructions. Construction material properties and applications, including impacts on resource depletion and on sustainable building practices will be introduced along with basic strategies and methods to analyze and calculate forces in simple structures [3 credits]
