This course introduces students to fundamental aspects of contemporary French and francophone cultures. Students will explore the notions of identity, nation and stereotypes while analyzing elements of everyday life in the French-speaking world such as cinema, music, food, traditions, travel and tourism, politics, sports, fashion, etc. This course will be taught in English and will not count for credit in the French Major or Minor [3 credits]
