In this intermediate course, we will read and discuss a number of works belonging to different literary genres by major German-speaking authors, such as Kafka, Mann, Brecht, Böll, Grass, Jelinek, Wolf, and others. Activities and assignments in this course will focus on the development of reading competency in different literary genres, the expansion of students' German vocabulary, and the development of German written and oral expression [3 credits]
