This course is strongly recommended as preparation for students planning to participate in the traditional appellate moots (Competitions B). The course is designed for students selected as either an oralist for one of the appellate moots or selected as a researcher for one of the same moots. This course provides learning with respect to the writing of a factum, the basic skills of oral advocacy in the appellate context and discusses issues of style of both written and oral presentation. This course provides skills that will prepare students for the moots, regardless of the legal issue of their particular moot [3 credits]
