This seminar provides students with an introduction to and understanding of effective leadership and its application to a variety of group and organizational contexts. The classes encourage interdisciplinary discussions of theoretical, philosophical, historical, and technical elements of effective leadership. The course allows students to reflect on and develop their own leadership style through interactive lectures, experiential activities, and action learning in groups and organizations in which students want to lead and be led. This seminar is intended for all students that have an interest in leadership theory and effective leadership practices. Students may not hold credit for both LEAD 2010 and ARTS 1160 [3 credits]
