This week long intensive course provides students with a series of lectures and practical skills labs to build on clinical skills acquired in MDFY 2040 and MDFY 2090. This course expands on knowledge and skills related to intrapartum care such as, perineal repair, emergency skills, fetal health surveillance, ethical issues, and other relevant topics. Knowledge related to effective interprofessional consultation and communication is introduced. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis [3 credits]
