This clinical practice experience focuses on preparing the student for their interprofessional placements. Students will be in midwifery clinical placements during the span of the course and complete the didactic part of this course online. This course expands on knowledge and skills related to variations in normal during the prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum periods. Knowledge related to effective interprofessional consultation and communication is reinforced. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis [3 credits]
