This course provides students with a series of lectures and practical skills labs to build on clinical skills acquired in previous MDFY courses. This course expands on knowledge and skills related to prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care with a focus on developing fundamental skills in managing complex care for the clients and newborns. Professional behaviour and interprofessional communication continues to be a focus. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis [3 credits]
