This course uses computer simulations to explore emergent behavior in simple models of natural phenomena, traffic, financial systems, and human behavior. The goal of the course is to show how computational modeling can be applied to exciting interdisciplinary problems spanning a wide range of human knowledge, beyond what is normally considered to be physics [3 credits]
