Focus is on the various statistical procedures sociologists use when analyzing quantitative data. The course introduces students to basic statistical computations and analyses in order develop an awareness of statistics in social research. Concentration is on what, when and how to apply and interpret relevant statistical techniques in order to answer specific research questions.
