Examination of the legacies and current operations of colonialism, and Indigenous Peoples' resistance and survivance, as both central to anthropological inquiries of Indigenous worlds. Themes covered may include: evolutionism and imperial projects; cultural difference, racialization, and genocide; decolonial approaches and Indigenous movements of self-determination; cultural appropriation; and healing, reconciliation and decolonization.
