During this six-week rotation offered in various hospital settings, students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the comprehensive evaluation of the pediatric patient, from the neonate to the adolescent. The program offers a wide spectrum of clinical experiences and students are exposed to common and important pediatric principles including growth and development, preventative pediatrics and common and emergency problems in hospital, ambulatory and community settings.
